Rainbow Jasper
This amazing colorful material has been called Haystack butte and Jelly bean jasper (amongst other things) but here at our house we call it rainbow jasper. I think it is pretty easy to see why it received this nickname as it literally contains every color of the rainbow often all within a single piece. It is a super hard porcelain jasper and takes a phenomenal polish. l brought display specimens to the Denver gem and mineral show last year and they were a huge hit! We will be adding more specimens and rough for sale by the pound soon.
